2 cups of oatmeal
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1/3 cup of honey
1/2 cup of ground flax seed (or you can use protein powder or cocoa powder)
1/2 cup of raisins (or chocolate chips)
1 tsp of vanilla
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, add together the dry ingredients (oatmeal, flax seed, raisins). Mix together.
Then add in your peanut butter, honey, and vanilla. Mix together thoroughly and refrigerate for 45 minutes to make your dough a bit firmer.
After 45 minutes, roll bits of dough into balls however big or small you want them to be. Place in an air tight container and store in the refrigerator. (Remember how much pb and honey you added! That at room temperature is messy!!) It can be stored for up to a week.
Now watch them disappear!
Thanks Amanda, I have made them, enjoyed them and shared this link on my facebook page Towards Total Health. If you like come and have look at the pictures of my kids helping make them and enjoying them. Will also write a little blog about them :-)
